Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices

- Zyprexa (Olanzapine) manufactured by Eli Lilly and Company—possible cause of diabetes and other diseases.
- Tysabri manufactured by Biogen Idec and Elan—multiple sclerosis drug which has possibly been implicated in brain infections.
- Concerta ® (Methylphenidate) manufactured by McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals (a Johnson & Johnson company)—possible association with hallucinations, psychotic behavior, suicidal thoughts and heart complications, such as high blood pressure.
- Guidant Corporation (implantable cardioverter defibrillators)—models include Ventak Prizm 2 DR, Ventak Prizm AVT, Vitality AVT, Contak Renewal CRT-D, Contak Renewal 2 CRT-D, Renewal 2 AVT, Renewal 4 AVT—potential short circuit malfunction.
- Medtronic, Inc. (implantable cardiac defibrillators and CRT-D devices)—models include Marquis TM VR/DR, InSync I/II/III MarquisTM, MaximoTM VR/DR, InSync III ProtectTM—potential failure of battery.
